Upload your dress photo
A product photo is enough, even a flat one against a plain background. The AI reads the cut, the print, and the length from it.
Upload a model photo
A photo of you, or a model photo for your brand. Full length matters more here than for any other try on: a midi, a maxi, and a mini are different dresses, and the AI can only show the difference if the legs are in frame.
Keep experimenting
Run the same dress on different photos of yourself, or different dresses on the same model. Satin falls differently than pleated denim, and the try on renders that difference, so the fastest way to choose between two dresses is to see both worn.

What makes a good dress photo for the try on?+
A clear shot of the whole dress, worn or flat. The AI needs to see the cut and the length; a cropped photo of just the bodice will not tell it where the hem ends.
Does it work for long dresses and slits?+
Yes. The try on renders the full silhouette, including maxi lengths, slits, and the way the fabric drapes, as long as the model photo shows enough of the body to carry the dress.
Can I use my own photo instead of a model?+
Yes. Any shot of yourself standing at full length, in decent light. Your pose and your face are untouched; the dress is what arrives. It happens in a browser tab, in the studio.
