AI Music for Fashion Videos, Composed: The New Black AI

Published 22 September 2026

Most fashion videos made with AI go out silent, or with a track the brand does not own. A product 360 on a Shopify page, a model walk on Instagram, a UGC clip on TikTok: the picture is generated in a minute, then somebody spends an hour looking for music that fits and that can be published. The New Black AI now composes that music in the same studio, from a few words, for two credits.

What "AI music for a fashion video" means here

It means an original piece composed for your clip, not a library track. You describe the mood, the instruments, the tempo, and whether you want a voice; the Create a soundtrack workflow returns a fifteen, thirty or sixty second MP3 with a fade at the end. Give it one of your videos instead of a description alone, and it returns the video with the music mixed underneath, looped if the film is longer than the track.

Because the piece is generated for you, there is no sample to clear and no licence to buy. You publish it with the video.

Three ways a brand uses it

  • A soundtrack for a product page video. A product 360 or a model walk gets a quiet, neutral bed: "soft ambient piano, slow, warm, no drums". The product stays the point.
  • A track for a reel or a TikTok. Something with a pulse: "upbeat electronic, 120 bpm, bright synths, a drop at fifteen seconds". Thirty seconds is the usual length.
  • The sound of a UGC clip, fixed. A UGC video already has a voice. The AUDIO button in the video window can Isolate that voice, Remove a background you do not want, or Create a soft bed under it.

How to write a music prompt that works

Describe the music, not the artist. "Cinematic strings, slow build, a single cello at the start, for a lookbook" gives the model everything it needs. "Sounds like a famous composer" gives it nothing it is allowed to use: prompts that name a real musician are refused, and the tile says so, so you can rewrite.

Three things that help:

  • Name the tempo in words or in bpm: slow, mid-tempo, 120 bpm.
  • Name two or three instruments rather than a genre alone: "acoustic guitar and light percussion" beats "folk".
  • Say what the video is for. "For a sneaker drop" and "for a bridal lookbook" pull the model in the right direction.

You can also drop an image in as a mood reference: a still from the film, or the poster. The model reads the image, not the video, so choose a frame that carries the mood.

What it costs

Two credits per composition, for any length, sung or instrumental, whether you get an MP3 or the video with the music mixed under it. The Starter plan's 200 credits a month cover a hundred soundtracks. Removing or isolating the sound of a video you already have costs nothing, for customers with a plan or a pack.

From the track to a finished film

A track sits in your creations like any image or video, with a player on the tile. It can also open the video editor, where it lands on the timeline of a new vertical film of the same length: add the clips, the titles, and export. The exported film is a new creation in the track's lineage; the track stays intact for the next one.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the generated music commercially?+

Yes. It is composed for you from your prompt, with no sample and no cover. Publish it on product pages, reels, ads and TikTok.

Can it make a track with vocals?+

Yes: choose Sung instead of Instrumental and the model adds a voice to the piece.

What lengths are available?+

Fifteen, thirty or sixty seconds, with a fade. Under a longer video, the track loops.

Can I add music to a video I made outside the studio?+

Yes: upload the video to your creations, then open it and use the AUDIO button, or pick it as the source of Create a soundtrack.

Why was my prompt refused?+

Because it named a real artist or composer. Describe the style, the instruments and the tempo instead.
