Create a soundtrack composes an original piece of music for a fashion video from a few words: the mood, the instruments, the tempo, and whether it is sung or instrumental. How it works
Open Create a soundtrack
In the studio, choose the sound format in the mode selector, between Video and 3D, or open the workflow from the catalogue under All. Two credits per composition, one model, one price.
Describe the music
Write what you hear: "slow ambient piano, warm, a little tape hiss, for a lookbook", or "upbeat electronic, 120 bpm, bright synths, for a sneaker drop". Choose Instrumental or Sung, and the length: 15, 30 or 60 seconds. You can add an image as a reference for the mood: a poster, a still from the video.
Or start from one of your videos
Pick a video from your creations instead of an image. The music is composed for it and mixed underneath, and the result is a new video in the same lineage; the original stays untouched. If the film is longer than the track, the track loops.
Use it
A track sits in your creations like any image or video, with a player on the tile. From a video, the AUDIO button in the video window does three things: Create composes a soundtrack right there, Remove strips the sound, Isolate keeps only the voice or the music. The track can also open the video editor, where it lands on the timeline of a new vertical film of the same length.
What kind of music can it make?
It composes original music in most styles a fashion film uses: ambient, electronic, house, hip-hop beats, acoustic, strings, lo-fi, cinematic. Describe the style, the instruments and the tempo rather than naming an artist or a composer: the model refuses prompts that name a real musician, and the tile tells you when a prompt was refused so you can rewrite it.
Can I use the music commercially?
Yes. The music is generated for you, from your prompt, and is yours to publish on a product page, a reel, a TikTok or an ad. There is no sample, no cover and no licence to clear, which is the reason the format exists: a brand's video should not go out silent because the right track was too expensive.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a soundtrack cost?+
Two credits per composition, whatever the length. Mixing it under a video costs the same two credits. Remove and Isolate on an existing video cost nothing; they are open to customers with a plan or a credit pack.
How long can the music be?+
Fifteen, thirty or sixty seconds, with a fade at the end. For a longer video the track loops.
Can I get a sung track?+
Yes: choose Sung instead of Instrumental and the model adds a voice to the piece.
Does it work with videos made in the studio?+
Yes, with any video in your creations: a model walk, a product 360, a UGC clip, an editorial. Pick the video as the source and the music is mixed underneath.
What if my prompt is refused?+
Prompts that name a real artist or composer are refused by the music model. The tile says so; describe the style and the instruments instead.
