Remove or Extract the Sound of a Video

Remove the sound of a video, extract it as an MP3 track, or replace it with your own music, from the video itself. Open any video in the studio and press Audio, between Edit and HD: one drawer holds everything that touches the sound of that clip. Removing and extracting are instant and cost no credits; they are open to every account with a plan or a credit pack.

Remove or Extract the Sound of a Video

How it works

1

Open the video and press Audio

Any video in your gallery works: a clip you generated, a model walk, a UGC video, or a film you uploaded yourself. The Audio button sits in the video's window, beside Edit.

2

Pick what to do with the sound

A switcher at the top of the drawer offers four choices:

ChoiceWhat it doesCost
UploadPuts your own track under the clip, replacing its sound or over itFree
CreateComposes an original soundtrack for the clip from a few words2 credits
RemoveGives the same video without any soundFree
IsolateExtracts the sound of the clip as an MP3 track of its ownFree
3

Get the new version beside the original

The result appears in the strip of versions above the clip, beside the original, which stays untouched: "Without sound" for a silent copy, "Sound" for an isolated track. A silent video is the same picture, copied without re-encoding, so nothing is lost in quality. The isolated track is an MP3 you can download or put under another clip.

Remove the sound from a video

Generated clips often come with sound: ambience, footsteps, music. For a product page, a silent autoplay loop or an ad where the platform adds its own music, the sound is in the way. Remove gives the same clip, frame for frame, with no audio track at all, in a few seconds.

Extract the audio from a video

Isolate does the opposite: it keeps only the sound. The track comes back as an MP3, the length of the clip, ready to put under another video, to send to an editor, or to keep as the sound of a campaign.

Replace the sound with your own music

Upload a track from your computer, slide the band along it to choose the part that plays under the clip, and choose Replace its sound or Over its sound to mix it with what is already there. To compose a track instead, Create a soundtrack writes one from a description of the mood and the instruments.

For your AI agent too

An AI agent hired on your account can do the same: remove, isolate or replace the sound of a video in your gallery, with your rights. Ask it to "give me the silent version of yesterday's walk video" and it runs the same function as the button.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove the sound from a video?+

Open the video in the studio, press Audio, choose Remove and confirm. A silent copy appears in the strip of versions above the clip in a few seconds.

Can I extract the audio from a video as an MP3?+

Yes. Choose Isolate in the Audio drawer: the sound of the clip comes back as an MP3 track, in the strip of versions above the clip, ready to download.

Does removing the sound lower the video quality?+

No. The picture is copied as it is, without re-encoding; only the audio track is left out.

Is it free?+

Remove, Isolate and Upload cost no credits. They are open to every account that has a plan or has bought a credit pack. Composing a new soundtrack with Create costs 2 credits.

Can I put my own music on a generated video?+

Yes. Choose Upload, pick the track, slide to the part you want, then replace the clip's sound or mix your music over it.

Is the original video kept?+

Always. Every change makes a new version beside the original, which stays exactly as it was.
