The New Black AI now reads the traffic, add-to-cart and conversion rate of each Shopify product

Published 19 September 2026

Shopify tells you what sold. It does not tell you, product by product, how many people looked, how many put it in the cart, and how many gave up. The New Black AI now reads those three numbers for every product of your store and turns them, with your sales, into one performance score.

What the Store page shows

For each product: its traffic, its add-to-cart rate and its conversion rate, read by a small pixel you enable in one click on Shopify. Sales, conversion, traffic and carts combine into one performance score, ranked against your other products. The product that gets looked at and never bought stands out at once; so does the one that converts every visit and gets no traffic.

How it works

1. Connect your Shopify store in Connectors, if it is not already. 2. Enable the pixel from the Store page: one click on Shopify, no code to paste. 3. Read the Store page. Each product carries its traffic, add-to-cart rate, conversion rate and score; the switch on the tabs row sets the period, 24 hours to 60 days, compared with the period just before.

Why it matters for a merchant

A product page is a funnel with three steps, and the store admin only counts the last one. Knowing where a product loses people tells you what to fix: a photo that does not stop the visitor, a price that stops the cart, a description that stops the sale. It also tells you which product deserves the next photoshoot, or the next product page optimisation.

The sales side of the same tile is already there; the pixel adds what happens before the sale. Everything lives on the Store page.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install code on my store?+
