The New Black AI now compares every figure of your Store with the previous period

Published 19 September 2026

A number without its comparison is a fact without a meaning: 140 visits is good or bad depending on last week. The New Black AI now sets one period for the whole Store page and shows every figure against the period of the same length just before.

What the switch does

On the tabs row, one switch: 24h, 7d, 30d, or Custom, which opens a small calendar where you pick a start and an end date, up to 60 days back. The Overview cards, SEO, Traffic and Ads all follow it. Each number is shown next to its previous-period value, so the direction is read before the figure.

How it works

1. Open the Store page. 2. Pick the period on the tabs row. 3. Read every tab at that period: sales, product performance, Search Console queries, traffic sources, ad spend.

Why it matters for a merchant

Shopify, Search Console, Google Analytics and the ad platforms each have their own date picker, and comparing a week across four tools is an afternoon of screenshots. One switch, one period, four sources, and the previous period already in the column next door.

The Store page is described in Store dashboard without Shopify; the sources it reads include Search Console and YouTube Analytics.
