The New Black AI now edits a fashion video from a single sentence

Published 18 September 2026

Most video edits a fashion brand needs are one sentence long: make it night, add falling snow, turn it into black and white, put the model on a beach. The New Black AI now does exactly that. Upload a clip, write the sentence, and the video comes back with that one change and nothing else.

What Edit Video does

Edit Video takes a clip you already have: a Model 360, a runway walk, a UGC clip, your own footage: and a sentence. The instruction reaches the model as you wrote it, so what you ask for is what changes: the light, the weather, the setting, a colour, a detail. The person, the movement and the camera stay as filmed unless the sentence says otherwise.

The clip keeps its length, its shape and its sound.

How it works

1. Upload the video, or press EDIT on any video already in your library. 2. Describe the change. Say what should change, and what should stay if it matters: "make it night, keep the person and the movement". One change per run gives the cleanest result. 3. Generate. The edited clip lands in your studio grid next to the original.

What it costs

Edit Video is priced by the second of the video you hand in: 2.8 credits per second in Standard quality, 3.7 in Pro. A 5-second clip is 14 credits in Standard. The length is read from the file before the job starts, so the price on the button is the price you pay.

Where it fits

A brand that shoots once and edits many times gets more out of every clip. The same walk can exist in daylight and at night, in summer and under snow, in colour and in black and white, without a second shoot. For clothing changes there is a dedicated workflow, Edit Outfit in Video; for a different person, Swap Model in Video.

Details on the Edit Video feature page. The result publishes to your networks from the Store agenda.

Frequently asked questions

Which videos can I edit?+

Any clip generated in the studio, or a video file of your own.

Can I ask for several changes at once?+

You can, but one change per run gives the cleanest result. Run it twice for two changes.

Does the sound stay?+

Yes. The clip keeps its length, its shape and its sound.
