The New Black AI now reframes a fashion video to vertical, square or 4:5 without cropping
Published 18 September 2026
A clip is shot once and posted five times, and every channel wants its own shape. Cropping loses the outfit at the edges. The New Black AI now reframes a video instead: the subject is recentred, the edges that did not exist are generated to match the scene, and the clip keeps its length and its motion.

What Reframe Video does
Give a clip and choose the new format: 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, 16:9 for the site, 1:1 for the feed, 4:5 or 5:4 for the grid. The video comes back in that shape, same length, with the parts of the scene that were outside the original frame filled in to match.
How it works
1. Upload the video: a Model 360, a UGC clip, a runway walk, your own footage, up to 60 seconds. 2. Choose the new format: 9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 4:5 or 5:4. Standard renders in 720p, Pro in 1080p. 3. Generate. The clip lands in your grid next to the original.
What it costs
By the second of the video you upload: 2.2 credits per second in Standard, 4.4 in Pro. A 5-second clip is 11 credits in Standard.
Why it matters for a brand
A landscape film made for the website becomes a vertical one for TikTok without the model losing her shoes, and a square one for the feed without the bag leaving the frame. One shoot, every format, and the Store agenda publishes each version to the network it was made for.
