The New Black AI

Publish AI Product Images to Your Shopify Store

Publishing to Shopify puts a creation made in the studio straight onto one of your product pages. Connect your store once, then from any creation choose Publish, pick Shopify and the product, and the image or the video lands on the listing. No download, no upload, no theme editing.

How it works

1

Connect your Shopify store

Install The New Black AI from the Shopify App Store, or open the app from your Shopify admin if it is already installed. Sign in or create your account and the store is tied to it. A store connects once; every creation you make afterwards can be published to it.

2

Make the visual

Generate the product on a model, run a virtual try-on, change the background, make a short video or a flat lay. Anything the studio produces for a product is a candidate for its page, and the Visual DNA keeps the whole catalogue consistent.

3

Publish to the product page

Open the creation, choose Publish, then Shopify in the platform menu, then the product. The image joins the product's media; a video does the same. A creation that is live on a product page is protected in the studio: the montage will not open on it, so an edit made afterwards cannot silently change what your customers see.

What it is for

A brand that sells on Shopify makes the same visuals for every product: worn by a model, on a clean background, in a lifestyle scene, sometimes a short clip. Doing that in the studio and publishing from the same window removes the export, the rename, the upload and the wait. It is also how a catalogue of fifty products gets its model photos in an afternoon, with bulk generation feeding the listings one by one.

Shopify, the API and the MCP

Publishing to Shopify is available in the studio, through the API for a brand that automates its catalogue, and through the MCP server for teams that work from an AI assistant. The three do the same thing on the same store.

Connect your store

Connect your Shopify store, or install the app from the Shopify App Store. Then make your first visual in the Models studio and publish it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install the Shopify app?+

Yes, once. The app ties your store to your account. After that, publishing happens from the studio, the API or the MCP, without opening Shopify.

Can I publish videos as well as images?+

Yes. An image joins the product's media; a video does the same, from the same Publish menu.

What happens if I edit a creation that is already on Shopify?+

The studio protects it: the montage will not open on a creation that is live on a product page, and the panel says why. Make a new creation from it instead, and publish that one if you prefer it.

Is publishing to Shopify included in the plans?+

Yes. Publishing is part of the studio on every paid plan; only the generations spend credits. Accounts created from the Shopify App Store are billed through Shopify.

Which products can I publish to?+

Any product of the connected store. The Publish menu lists them; pick the one the visual belongs to.
