AI Fashion: The New Black AI now exports 3D garments as FBX for Unreal and Unity
Published 18 September 2026
A 3D garment generated from an image is only useful where it can be opened. The New Black AI now converts any 3D creation to the format your pipeline reads: FBX for Unreal, Unity and Blender, USDZ for augmented reality on iPhone, OBJ for everything else, STL or 3MF for printing, glTF unpacked.

What the export does
Open a 3D creation and, in its Edit tab, pick a format and convert it. The file downloads in about fifteen seconds, textures included where the format carries them. The original GLB stays as it is, so a creation can be exported to several formats over time.
The formats
- FBX: Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, and most animation and game pipelines.
- USDZ: AR Quick Look on iPhone and iPad: a garment placed in a customer's room from a link.
- OBJ: the universal interchange format, read by nearly every 3D tool.
- STL and 3MF: 3D printing.
- glTF: the web format, unpacked with its textures.
How the 3D creation is made
Image to 3D turns a product image into a 3D model, 10 credits per conversion. A sharper source helps: upscaling the image before the conversion gives the model more to read. The export itself is a download, not a generation.
Why it matters for a brand
A virtual showroom in Unreal, a product configurator in Unity, an AR try-on on iPhone, a printed prototype: each wants its own file, and each used to mean a 3D artist and a week. Now the image of a garment becomes the asset, and the asset becomes every file.
Frequently asked questions
Are textures included?+
Yes, where the format carries them. FBX, USDZ, OBJ and glTF do; STL does not.
Does converting cost credits?+
No. The 3D creation costs 10 credits; the export is a download.
Can I export the same creation to several formats?+
Yes. The GLB stays the original, and each format is converted from it.
