The New Black AI

Export a Tech Pack to PDF

When a tech pack is ready, it leaves as a PDF. Preview shows the document as it prints, page by page, each page in the orientation you chose for it; Export as PDF builds the whole pack in one file. Exporting is free, as many times as you need, at every revision, and the pack stays in your list, filed in its project, ready for the next one.

How it works

1

Open the preview

Preview, at the top of the document, shows the tech pack as it prints: the header, the sketch with its callouts, the size chart, the bill of materials, the notes, page after page. What you see here is what the factory receives, so finish the pack before this step.

2

Check the pages

Each page keeps the orientation you set for it, portrait for the sheet, landscape for a wide size chart. Page through the document, and if a table breaks badly or a callout is missing, close, fix, and come back.

3

Export as PDF

Export as PDF builds the file: the whole pack in one PDF, ready to send. Close, and the pack stays in your list with its project; export again after every revision, the document is never frozen.

Before you send it

Run the AI review first: it lists what the factory will ask, and a question caught now saves a sample later. Name the style clearly in the header, date the revision, and keep one PDF per revision so the factory and you talk about the same file.

Frequently asked questions

Does exporting a tech pack cost credits?+

No. Preview and export are free, without limit. Only the AI parts of the work, the drafted pack from photos, the flat sketch and the AI review, spend credits.

Can I export several times?+

Yes. Every revision can be exported again; the pack stays in your list and keeps its project.

Where does the PDF go?+

It downloads to your computer from the preview. An AI agent hired on the account can also export a pack and file the PDF in your Files.

Can I choose the page orientation?+

Yes, per page: portrait for the written sections, landscape for a wide size chart or bill of materials. The preview shows each page as it will print.
