AI Tech Pack Review: Read It Like a Factory Would
Once a tech pack is drafted, read it back before it travels. AI analysis, at the top of the document, reads the whole pack like a factory would and lists what the factory would ask: the contradictions between the text and the table, the missing measurements, the materials without a reference, and why each one matters. Two credits; a reading costs less than a sample.
- 1Run the analysis
- 2Read the report
- 3Fix, then run it again
How it works
Run the analysis
Click AI analysis at the top of the document and confirm: Analyse this tech pack, two credits. The reading takes a moment and covers every section: header, construction, sketch and callouts, size chart, bill of materials, notes.
Read the report
The report is a list of findings, each marked by severity. Blocking: a construction note that contradicts the measurement chart, a length claimed in the description with no measurement to check it, a tolerance the factory will query. Check: a claim to confirm, a trim without a reference, a finish that does not match the fabric.
Fix, then run it again
Correct the findings in the sheet, in the size chart or the bill of materials, then run the analysis again. When the list is empty or only carries choices you made on purpose, the pack is ready to export.
What the review catches
The reading looks for what a pattern maker or a factory technician would circle on the first pass: a vent described in the construction but absent from the sketch, a hem width given in the text and not in the table, French seams claimed on a lined coat, a tolerance too tight for the fabric, a material line with no supplier or reference. It does not judge the design; it judges whether the document can be made from.

Frequently asked questions
How much does the AI review cost?+
Two credits per reading. Building and editing the tech pack are free, so run the review when the pack is complete, and again after the corrections.
Does the review change my tech pack?+
No. It reads and reports. You make the corrections yourself in the sheet, which keeps every decision yours.
What does Blocking mean?+
A finding the factory cannot work around: a contradiction between two parts of the pack, or a measurement that is needed and missing. Check marks something to confirm rather than something broken.
Can I review a tech pack I imported?+
Yes. Import a document you already have, or start from a template, and run the analysis on it the same way.
