Tech Pack Size Chart, Measurements and Grading
The size chart is the table the factory cuts from: one line per measurement, the code shared with the callout on the sketch, one value per size, the tolerance the factory may deviate by, and a note that says how to measure so that two people get the same number. The AI draft proposes the values; your fit is yours to correct, cell by cell.

How it works
One line per measurement
Each row carries a code, the same one as the callout on the sketch, and the name of the measurement: chest width one centimetre below the armhole, centre back length, sleeve length, shoulder width. Add a row adds a measurement, and its callout goes on the sketch.
One value per size: the grading
Then one value per size, from XS to XL or whatever range you set. That is the grading: how the measurement grows from one size to the next. The draft applies standard increments for the type of garment; a pattern maker will refine them.
Tolerance, notes, unit
Tolerance is how much the factory may deviate, in either direction, usually half a centimetre to one and a half. Notes say how to measure: flat, seam to seam, from the highest point of the shoulder. The unit, centimetres or inches, is set once for the whole table.
Why the table matters more than the drawing
A factory sews to numbers. A beautiful sketch with a vague table gives a sample that fits no one; a plain sketch with a complete table gives a sample you can correct. Fill every cell, keep the tolerance honest, and write the measuring note for anything that could be read two ways.

Frequently asked questions
Where do the values in the size chart come from?+
From the size range you set and standard grading rules for the type of garment, when the pack is drafted by AI from photos. They are a starting point, not a fit: correct them against your own sample or block.
Can I change the sizes?+
Yes. The size range is set when the pack is created and can be edited in the table: add or remove sizes, rename them, switch between letter and numeric sizing.
What tolerance should I use?+
It depends on the measurement and the fabric. Half a centimetre on small measurements such as a cuff, one to one and a half on lengths and widths, a little more on stretch fabrics. The note column is the place to justify an unusual value.
Centimetres or inches?+
Either. The unit is chosen once for the whole table and printed with it in the PDF.
