Tech Pack Canvas: Flat Sketch and Callouts
The canvas is where the flat sketch of the garment lives, with its callouts. You can place your own flat or a photo, write text on it, draw the sketch with AI from the photos of the piece, and add callouts: arrows, lines and circles in red, blue or black that point at a detail. Beside each arrow, a code and a name; the codes are the codes of the size chart.

How it works
Put a drawing on the canvas
Place an image puts a picture on the canvas: your own flat sketch, a photo of the piece, a detail shot. Create an image with AI draws the flat sketch for you from the photos of the garment, front or front and back, for one credit per sketch.
Add callouts
Add a callout opens a library of shapes: straight and bent arrows, lines, dashed lines, circles and ellipses, full or dashed, in red, blue or black. Place one, point it at a seam, a pocket, a hem, and type the code and the name beside it: CH for the chest width, SW for the shoulder width.
Keep the codes and the table in step
The codes on the canvas are the codes of the size chart. Add a row in the size chart and its callout goes on the sketch; a callout on the sketch is a line the factory looks up in the table. Same code, same name, one truth.
Text on the canvas
Add text writes directly on the canvas: a label, a stitch reference, a note for the factory, the name of a trim. Keep it short; the long explanations belong in the construction section of the sheet, where they print with the text.

Does the canvas cost credits?+
No. Placing images, writing text and adding callouts are free. Only Create an image with AI, the flat sketch drawn from photos, costs one credit per sketch.
Can I use my own flat sketch?+
Yes. Place an image accepts your own drawing, a photo, or a creation from the studio. The image to flat sketch workflow turns a garment photo into a clean flat if you need one first.
What colours and shapes are available?+
Arrows, bent arrows, lines, dashed lines, circles and ellipses, full or dashed, each in red, blue or black. Red is the usual choice for measurements, blue and black for construction notes.
How do callouts relate to the size chart?+
By their code. CH on the sketch is the CH line of the table. Adding a measurement row adds its callout; renaming one renames the other.
