Tech Pack Bill of Materials (BOM)
The bill of materials lists everything the factory buys to make one piece: the fabrics, the lining, the buttons, the thread, the labels, the packaging. One line per material, with a picture, its category, the material itself, where it goes on the garment, the supplier and its reference, the quantity for one garment, the price, the colourway and notes for the factory.

How it works
One line per material
Add a row for every fabric, lining, interlining, button, zip, thread, label and hang tag. Each row starts with a picture of the material, its category, the material itself and its placement on the garment.
Supplier, reference, quantity, price
Then the supplier and its reference, the quantity for one garment in the supplier's unit, metres for fabric, pieces for buttons, and the price. This is the part the AI draft leaves to you: the sourcing is yours, and only you know the reference on the swatch.
Colourway and notes
The colourway says which material goes with which colour of the style; notes carry what the factory must know, a weight, a finish, a care instruction, a substitute if the reference runs out.
Why the BOM decides the price
A sample is quoted from this table. Missing lines come back as questions, or as substitutions you did not choose. A complete BOM, with quantities and references, is what lets a factory price the piece and order the right material before the sample is cut. The AI review flags the materials without a reference.

Frequently asked questions
Does the AI draft fill the bill of materials?+
It creates the table and can name the visible materials from the photos, but it does not know your supplier, your reference or your price. Those cells are yours.
What unit should quantities use?+
The unit the supplier sells in: metres or yards for fabric, pieces for buttons and zips, metres for tape and thread. Write it in the notes when it could be read two ways.
Can I attach a picture of the fabric?+
Yes. Each line carries a picture: a swatch photo, a creation from the studio, or the image of the trim. Image to fabric can turn a design into a printable textile pattern if the material is a print of yours.
Is the BOM printed in the PDF?+
Yes, as a table in the exported document, with the pictures, so the factory sees the material beside its reference.
