8 Best fashn.ai Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Published 3 November 2026

The best fashn.ai alternative in 2026 is The New Black AI: it offers the same core, virtual try-on, model swap and product to model, in a studio and through an API, and adds what fashn.ai leaves to you: video of 5 to 30 seconds, publishing to a Shopify product page and social accounts, design and tech packs, from $15 a month. If you need a general product photo API with fashion steps inside, Claid is the closest; if you want the sharpest stills without writing code, WearView; if you want a Shopify app with one button, Botika. This list, updated November 2026, ranks eight alternatives, what each is best for and where each one stops.

What fashn.ai does, and why teams look elsewhere

fashn.ai offers virtual try-on, model swap, product to model, packshots and image to video, in a web app, a mobile app and as API endpoints. Its API is its strength: developers build try-on into their own store or app with a few calls. Its plans were $19 a month for 200 credits, $49 for 750 and $99 for 1,500 when we read them in September 2026, with credits that roll over.

Teams start looking for a fashn.ai alternative for a few recurring reasons:

  • No Shopify app. A brand without a developer wants the image on its product page without writing an integration.
  • It stops at the image and the clip. Editing, longer video, sound and publishing are left to you.
  • Nothing before the photo. Design, sketches and tech packs live in other tools.
  • One studio for the whole team. Marketing wants a visual workspace, the developer wants an API; some teams want both on the same account and the same credits.

How we compared

We read each company's own site and pricing page: fashn.ai, Botika, Modelia, HuHu and FashionDiffusion in September 2026, Claid, WearView and Uwear on 3 November 2026. We compared what a team leaving fashn.ai asks: is there an API, is there a Shopify path without code, does the garment stay exactly as photographed, can you dress your own model, is there video, and what does an image cost at your monthly volume. Prices change; check the pricing pages before you commit.

1. The New Black AI

Best for: brands and developers who want fashn.ai's try-on core with a studio, video, Shopify and tech packs on the same account.

Virtual Try-On takes your garment photo and a model, an AI model described by age, body shape and origin, or a photo of a person you supply, and returns the garment worn: 1 credit on Standard AI, 3 on Pro, 7 on Ultra. Shoes, bags, jewellery, caps and eyewear each have their own product type and framing. Product to Model starts from a packshot or a flat lay when there is no model photo yet, and Swap Model keeps the outfit and changes the person.

Where it goes further than fashn.ai:

  • An API and a studio on the same credits. The virtual try-on API takes a person photo and up to three product photos in one call; the same workflows are in the studio for the team that does not code. See all API integrations.
  • Video. The image becomes a model video of 5 to 30 seconds, or a try-on video from two photos.
  • Shopify without code. The image goes to the Shopify product page from the same window, and to social accounts from the same workspace.
  • Before the photo. Design, sketches and tech packs for brands that also make their pieces.

The Starter plan is $15 a month for 200 credits, every workflow open on every plan, 4K from the Pro plan. Limits: it is a broad studio, so the first hour takes longer than a single endpoint.

2. Claid

Best for: teams that want a product photo API with fashion steps inside.

Claid offers AI fashion models, flat lay to model, model backgrounds and fashion video, next to upscaling and background tools, on the web and through an API. A free trial lets you test any operation; paid plans are Essentials, Pro and Business, see their site for current prices. Limits: a general product photo suite; try-on on your own model, design and tech packs are not its focus.

3. WearView

Best for: brands that need the highest resolution product to model stills, without code.

WearView makes model photos from product shots in HD, 2K and 4K, with virtual try-on on every plan and short videos from the Pro plan. Lite is $29 a month for 50 credits, Pro $49 for 200 and Advanced $99 for 500, or $24, $40 and $82 a month billed yearly (read on 3 November 2026), with free sample shoots and a 14 day refund on the first plan. Limits: no free plan, a small volume at the entry plan, and its pricing page does not mention Shopify.

4. Botika

Best for: Shopify brands that want the simplest path from flat lay to product page.

Botika takes a flat lay, a model from its library and a background, and sends the image to the store through its Shopify app. A photo is one credit, a short video five; the Advanced plan was about $40 a month billed yearly for 1,000 credits a year in September 2026, with a trial. Limits: the models come from its own pool, not your photos, and light and composition are hard to steer. See our ranking of the best AI fashion model generators for more.

5. Uwear

Best for: brands that prefer to pay per image, with a Shopify app.

Uwear sells credits at $0.10 each, from $7, with a photo from 2 credits (read on 3 November 2026), and has a Shopify app for brands and a separate app for shoppers. Limits: garments only, no video try-on.

6. Modelia

Best for: trying AI models for free, with video of the same model.

Modelia offers a Starter plan at no cost with a monthly allowance and paid plans from about $30 a month (read on 25 September 2026). An image costs 3 credits, a five second video 25, and a Consistent Character keeps the same model. Limits: 3 credits an image adds up at volume, and images on the plan at no cost are watermarked.

7. HuHu

Best for: turning flat lay, hanger and ghost mannequin shots into on-model images with control over the model.

HuHu works from the garment shots brands already have, from about $20 a month with a limited free use (read on 25 September 2026). Limits: garments only, limited video, no Shopify app.

8. FashionDiffusion

Best for: shoes and earrings try-on on a small budget.

FashionDiffusion offers try-on, sketch generation, face swap and fabric recolor from $12 a month for 100 credits (read on 25 September 2026); there is no trial tier. Limits: mostly used by consumers rather than brands, with no publishing to a store.
